HJ3's 2012 Recap: Giving Back and Looking Forward

The year 2012 brought many significant moments, and at HJ3, we have plenty to be thankful for. We're grateful for our health, the support of our friends and families, and the unwavering commitment of our team members who consistently go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service. In the memory of our dear friend and colleague, George Salustro, who exemplified selflessness, we've made it a tradition to express our gratitude by giving back to our community.

During the holiday season in 2012, HJ3 proudly sponsored the "Breath of Life Gala" hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Tucson chapter. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that impacts approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. This ailment is characterized by the production of thick, sticky mucus in the lungs and digestive system, leading to potential life-threatening lung infections and hindering food absorption in the pancreas.

The theme of last year's annual fundraiser was "Bollywood Bash," which proved to be a resounding success, raising an impressive $384,000. This amount nearly doubled the results of the previous year's event.

In December, HJ3 actively participated in the Salvation Army's heartwarming "Adopt a Family" holiday program. We had the privilege of adopting two families who were facing challenging times and struggling to provide their children with the Christmas they deserved. It's hard to put into words the profound emotions that washed over us as we met each family, and their joy was palpable as they saw the pile of gifts we had prepared for them.

As we embrace 2013, we recognize that there's more work ahead for our company. We remain dedicated to driving innovation and contributing to the strengthening of the world's infrastructure, one application at a time. Our commitment to delivering the strongest materials, top-notch service, and the highest quality work will continue. Additionally, each day, we'll ask ourselves how we can further give back to fortify our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone we've had the privilege to collaborate with over the years for your steadfast support. Here's to a promising and joyful new year!
