The CarbonSeal™ composite system is built to withstand high-pressure transmission pipeline defects. See how the CarbonSeal™ system handles burst pressure testing. Before testing, crack-like defects were fabricated into pipe samples. The carbon system fabric was then quickly and effectively saturated for easy installation. Pipe samples were placed in pressure test chambers until absolute failure, results exceeded the yield pressure. The result was a failure outside the repair area at 2,946psi.

Compared to the competitor’s 20 layers, HJ3’s composite system can provide more strength in just 7 layers. The carbon seal provides not only the strongest system in the industry but also reduces costs, materials, and installation time.
